Portability of our yurts

Our yurts have an additional Portability that others may not

You don’t need to build a deck for a Buffalo Mtn Yurt. Our yurts come with a floor cup that keeps the yurt dry and safe from any water seeping in.

You can put rugs, laminated floor or any other type of flooring in your yurt and still have it on the bare ground. You just need a level non rocky surface to set on.

What is so remarkable about these round structures is they are portable and can be moved from one place another in hours. The yurt can be transported on a small trailer or stored in your back yard shed or they can be left standing all year round. Yurts can come with insulation to provide heat efficiently for the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Wood stoves, gas logs, or propane heaters can be installed in any yurt. Air conditioners can also be installed through the window. Portable units are much handier though.

Our yurts can come with an electric harness kit. This has a plug that works like the campers and can be plugged in to a post like at a campground. You could even go as far as as installing plumbing under the deck for a more permanent living quarters.

Our yurts are hand made with each step done to your custom order. Each individual yurt has its own personal attention given to it for a custom alteration. Some may have a larger window while others have standard size windows. Colors can mixed and matched as you see fit. Each yurt is assembled “before” it gets shipped or delivered to you for set-up to assure an accurate fit.
